East County Action Plan Update
The East County Action Plan is in the process of being updated. The updated East County Action Plan will feed into the Countywide Transportation Plan (CTP) Update. The East County Action Plan Update and CTP Update processes are anticipated to be completed by 2022 and 2023, respectively.
State Route 239 Project
The proposed State Route 239 Project will provide a new highway from State Route 4 at Marsh Creek Road in Contra Costa County to Interstate 580 in Alameda County or Interstate 205 in San Joaquin County.
Mokelumne Trail Bicycle/Pedestrian Overcrossing Project
The Mokelumne Trail Bicycle/Pedestrian Overcrossing project will construct a pedestrian and bicycle bridge that spans Highway 4 – closing a gap along the Mokelumne Trail, and providing safe access for bicyclists and pedestrians.
East County Integrated Transit Study
The East County Integrated Transit Study (ECITS) was undertaken by the Contra Costa Transportation Authority to identify solutions for improving transit services from the City of Antioch east to the City of Brentwood in East Contra Costa County.
